Sr. Resident Engineer, Body Structures

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at Rivian to play a pivotal role in launching and refining Body, Skateboard, and Battery Structures, ensuring quality and performance from prototype to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of experience in an engineering role related to Body manufacturing equipment and process
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• CAD design experience for Body Structure commodity including an excellent understanding of systems & components
• Experience delivering multiple vehicle programs to production with specific experience in Body and skateboard structures

Responsibilities

• Support launch activities and production ramp across Body Structures
• Communicate effectively across various internal groups
• Be the first point of contact for all issues found on the builds and resolve
• Responsible for delivery of Body Engineering requirements from prototype phase to stable production
• Drive continuous improvement efforts in quality, cost, and delivery
