Rivian is seeking a collaborative and creative thinker with an experienced understanding of facility, workplace, and lab technical needs to join their in-house design team as an Electrical Engineering subject matter expert.
Requirements
Accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or other relevant degree field
8+ years’ experience with office/lab project design and construction administration
Proficiency in Office, Autodesk Revit, Autocad, and Bluebeam Revu
Experience managing small and large-scale programs and projects
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and adjust to rapidly changing priorities
Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
Develop and communicate design ideas through sketches, markups, drafting, or illustrations/renderings
Lead design development discussions and coordinate internally with various departments
Drive due diligence analysis, feasibility studies, and conceptual design parameters
Author Electrical Basis of Design for new projects and support the Facilities Workplace Leadership Team
Produce pricing packages and narratives defining the final scope of a project
Coordinate and collaborate externally with consultants, architects, engineers, vendors, and fabricators
Identify and forecast long-lead infrastructure requirements and drive recommendations for alternative solutions
Monitor progress and incorporate end user space requests into the facility management system
Attend meetings, visit sites, and lead initiatives related to facility development goals
Contribute to the team culture, initiatives, and strategy conversations
