Sr. Design & Release Engineer - Interior & Small Lighting

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the full lifecycle of Vehicle Exterior Small Lamps and Interior Lamps.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-7+ years of Exterior/interior Lamp development at a Tier 1 or OEM
• Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically CATIA V5/V6
• Experience in BoM development, DFMEA, DVP creation, and design surface feasibility checks

Responsibilities

• Support program and engineering activities for exterior lighting programs
• Develop scope-of-work documents with key deliverables identified
• Act as the technical liaison between Studio, Engineering, Suppliers, and Procurement
• Provide feasibility advice & guidance to Studio
