Rivian is seeking a Vehicle Hardware Engineer to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves providing technical expertise for injection mold tooling and driving tooling best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of injection mold tooling experience in the automotive industry
• Proven experience with handling multiple complex projects simultaneously
• First-class communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• CATIA V5 & Moldflow software proficiency
• Flexibility to travel as necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for injection mold tooling
• Participate in product design development activities
• Drive tooling best practices
• Develop & maintain tooling best practice documents
• Review tooling estimates & quotations
• Lead problem-solving for production plant issues
