Sr. Range & Efficiency Development Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Range & Efficiency Development Engineer to support the R&E Attributes process from initial target setting to final vehicle level validation sign off.

Requirements

• Hands-on knowledge of range testing procedures
• Working knowledge of vehicle communication network systems
• Experience in battery powered electric vehicles and powertrains
• Experience in data analysis and test scripting/automation
• Understanding of measurement equipment maintenance and calibration

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling test tracks and prioritizing use of resources
• Execute vehicle level static and dynamic efficiency test activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for validation
• Conduct benchmarking with competitive vehicles
• Interpret regulations and test procedures
