Senior Machine Learning, DataOps Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a ML Data Ops Engineer to support the fast and high-quality auto labeling and dataset generation for safety critical self-driving features of their Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with modern data processing ego systems
• Experience in maintaining large scale data generation workflow using environments such as AWS batch and ray clusters
• Hands-on experience with python and database query
• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• Good team player with great communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and developing the staged workflow for vehicle data processing, auto labeling, and tagging
• Supporting large-scale dataset generation/backfill per release cycle
• Making necessary optimizations to meet data quality and pipeline throughput requirements
• Interacting with the business logic owner of the data processing SW to ensure fast feature additions to data release
• Improving data quality and pipeline success rate
