Lead Supplier Development Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage quality requirements and performance of contract manufacturers for seamless production scaling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 7+ years of supplier quality engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA
• Technical expertise in automotive components design and manufacturing
• Knowledge of GD&T, IATF16949:2016, ISO14001

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier industrialization and readiness for all commodities
• Manage complete ownership of supplier quality through the entire life cycle
• Support Purchasing group in supplier selection process
• Ensure supplier APQP meets quality and timing expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product development
• Manage supplier PPM, problem-solving, warranty indicators
• Participate in customer requirement fulfillment
