Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years building data and analytics platforms using AWS Cloud, Python, SQL and Databricks.
• Experience working with Distributed systems like Spark.
• Knowledge of automation and CI-CD best practices.
• Outstanding aptitude for problem-solving and a demonstrated ability to excel within a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data lifecycle.
• Utilize Apache Spark within the Databricks environment for data processing.
• Optimize and enhance data processing capabilities using Python, SQL, Spark, and other technologies.
• Implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Provide necessary data infrastructure to Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Stay current with industry trends to improve data engineering processes.
