Job Description

Rivian is seeking a key member for their Perception team to work on developing and deploying machine learning algorithms for their self-driving vehicles.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years related industry or research experience
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience in C++ and Python
• Broad understanding of modern Perception systems and architectures
• Experience in software for real-time safety-critical systems, robotics, machine learning model training, parallel programming, cloud computing, and more
• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing software components related to Machine Learning training
• Collaborating with ML engineers to integrate software components into the model development process
