Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years building data and analytics platforms using AWS Cloud, Python, SQL, and Databricks
• Experience working with Distributed systems like Spark
• Knowledge of automation and CI-CD best practices
• Outstanding aptitude for problem-solving and ability to excel within a collaborative team setting

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Work with large datasets to ensure data quality and reliability
• Leverage Apache Spark within the Databricks environment
• Implement and optimize ETL processes
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices
