Staff Software Engineer, ML Training and Inference Infrastructure

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in ML training and inference infrastructure to work on self-driving features for their Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• PhD in CS/CE/EE, or equivalent, with industry experience
• Deep knowledge of PyTorch and model training framework
• In-depth knowledge of transformer architecture and ways to accelerate training and inference
• Experience in large scale distributed training of models
• Experience with CUDA, Triton language, Nvidia TensorRT, and edge computing systems

Responsibilities

• Optimize Deep Learning training workload on NVIDIA GPU systems
• Optimize latency of model inference and model pre- and post-processing on onboard systems
• Design, train, and deploy large deep learning models using labeled and unlabeled data
