Rivian is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic technology team.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing and supporting virtualized and physical infrastructure environments
Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems
Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of network fundamentals
Experience with security best practices in infrastructure management
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain virtualized environments
Manage and optimize storage solutions
Implement and manage data protection strategies
Administer and troubleshoot both Linux and Windows server operating systems
Deploy, manage, and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions
Develop and maintain automation scripts
Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions
Collaborate effectively with other IT teams
Contribute to the development and implementation of infrastructure standards and policies
