Regional Development Apps Engineer

Job Description

The job involves providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of optical thin film and SCD metrology in both customer fabrication and KLA facilities.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree, Masters with 2-4 years, or Bachelors with 3-5 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering applications
• Deeper understanding of engineering principles and techniques
• Strong working knowledge of testing techniques
• Ability to independently resolve complex problems

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customers recipe development and setup, technical training, project execution, and related pre-sales activities
• Generate film and SCD recipe development BKMs and publish technical paper
• Review and evaluate quality of data in other related technical documents
• Serve as Applications Representative for PLC projects
