Electron Beam Product Engineer

Job Description

KLA is seeking an Electron Beam Product Engineer to join their systems engineering team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The engineer will be responsible for coordinating tool operating and maintenance activities for electron beam tools.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree in Physics, Optics, Electrical, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating and servicing vacuum systems
• Experience with python scripting, Matlab, and statistics packages such as JMP
• Experience in high voltage, ultra-high vacuum, and electron microscopy
• Strong interpersonal presentation skills and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the global tool user community to ensure local tools are available for engineers worldwide
• Troubleshoot and maintain semiconductor metrology and review tools
• Complete critical tool performance calibrations and periodic preventative maintenance
• Monitor tool performance and uptime, and lead efforts to solve problems
• Perform detailed investigation into tool failures and author clear summaries of test results
