Sr. Software Algorithm Engineer

Job Description

The Algorithm Software Engineering role at KLA involves development, prototyping, testing, and implementing data and image processing algorithms for cutting-edge metrology solutions in semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of either C++ or C# with the ability to learn the other
• Good knowledge of Python and willingness to learn MATLAB fundamentals
• Advanced knowledge of data and image processing algorithms and statistics
• Experience in speed-efficient algorithms development and implementation
• Experience in applying techniques of parallel execution for algorithm performance optimization
• Knowledge of good practices for modular software design and object-oriented programming
• Experience with software product lifecycle process
• Good communication skills and experience working in diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Develop, prototype, test, and implement data and image processing algorithms
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers from adjacent teams
• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge metrology solutions for semiconductor manufacturing
• Enable unprecedented capability for control and monitoring of semiconductor manufacturing process
