Mechatronics Systems Design Engineer (Computer Vision)

Job Description

Join a fast-paced, dynamic team designing complex semiconductor equipment in a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Requirements

• PhD in related fields of robotics, control systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering
• 1+ years experience with a Ph.D. or 3+ years experience with a Master's degree, preferably in semiconductor product development

Responsibilities

• Design prototypes, deploy mechatronics, and perform first principal analysis for sizing components
• Release complete documentation package and work with the new product group for vital documentation generation
• Assist program manager with inputs to program schedules and evaluate skills requirements and material cost
• Participate in establishing a roadmap for next-generation electro-mechanical systems
• Drive concepts and detailed design reviews to address performance and throughput
• Define plans for system integration, testing, and problem-solving
• Work closely with the customer support organization to solve customer issues
