Regional Applications Development Engineer

Job Description

The job involves providing applications development support to PWG and Wafersight products, demonstrating metrology relevance to customer yield issues, and working towards tool/algorithm performance characterization.

Requirements

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields
• Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven and a strong team player
• Programming and scripting skills in MATLAB or Python are a plus

Responsibilities

• Developing test cases and characterizing new products and features
• Providing technical support for customer applications dealing with PWG products and features
• Delivering specific product demonstrations to customers and assessing potential applications
• Working towards tool/algorithm performance characterization and providing feedback to Engineering teams
• Understanding customer requirements and processes for root cause analysis and solutions
