Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer to join the innovative team at KLA, working on precision machine design for ebeam systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D solid modeling CAD, preferably ProE/Creo
• Mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Experience in precision mechanical design and machining
• Familiarity with tolerance analysis and error budget assignment
• Basic FEA analysis through CAD or FEA software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of sophisticated e-beam mechanical parts
• Conduct requirement/concept design reviews
• Collaborate with vendors for manufacturing processes
• Use CAD software for part and assembly drawings
• Drive part purchase, prototype assembly, and system integration
