Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Reliability Engineer to conduct reliability tests on component package, PCBA, and system level for various NV products.

BS/MS in related fields such as physical engineering, mechanical, materials and electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in reliability engineering related to electronic packaging and modules.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with electronic packaging, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
Familiar with advanced AI tools and reliability requirements for various IC packages.
Knowledge using DfR and/or FEA tools.
Knowledge of failure analysis for electronics products and components.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and drive projects to conclusion in an efficient and effective manner.

Work with component package development and operations teams to create component package, board and system reliability test plans for various products such as GPU, Server, Data Center, Automotive, etc.
Develop and review reliability for IC packages in both component and board/system level.
Develop and assess reliability for various mechanical components and latest thermal cooling technologies.
Coordinate and conduct packaging reliability testing in internal and external laboratories.
Program and operate reliability test equipment including environmental chambers, reflow ovens, mechanical testers.
Review test software packages and generate applicable test scripts for reliability testing.
Lead failure analysis tasks, interface and communicate with internal and external teams.
