Software QA Test Dev Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Software QA Test Development Engineer to join our GPU SWQA team. The successful candidate will work on designing and implementing automated tests incorporating AI technologies for NVIDIA's device driver software and SDKs on various Windows and Linux operating systems.

Requirements

• B.S / B.Tech/M.S in Computer Science / Electronics & Telecommunication with strong academics or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of programming experience in Python/C/C++ with experience in applying Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Hands-on knowledge of developing Python scripts with application development concepts like dictionaries, tuples, RegEx, PIP etc
• Working experience with databases and storage technologies like SQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch
• Good understanding of OS fundamentals, PC Hardware fine-tuning in those areas
• Good Communication skills (interpersonal and across teams)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very organized, proactive, and has good learning ability

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests incorporating AI technologies for NVIDIA's device driver software and SDKs on various Windows and Linux operating systems
• Build tools/utility/framework in Python / C / C++ to automate and optimize testing workflows in GPU domain
• Develop and implement automated and manual tests, analyze results, identify and report defects
• Drive test automation initiative rigorously
• Build innovative ways to automate and expand software testing
• Exposing defects and constraints, isolating and debugging issues, finding root causes, contributing to solutions, and driving closure
• Measuring code coverage for the software under test, analyzing and driving code coverage enhancements
• Developing applications and tools to accelerate development and test workflows, writing fast, effective, maintainable, reliable, and well-documented code
• Generating and testing compatibility across a range of products and interfaces, validating different key software applications across a test matrix, and providing peer code reviews
