Senior System Software Power Optimization Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to join their GPU System Software team, responsible for developing comprehensive system software solutions from concept to production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in system software or related field.
• B.S. or higher degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science/Engineering and related field.
• Strong programming skills in C.
• Solid background in operating system internals, device drivers, real-time embedded operating systems, algorithms, and data structures.
• In-depth knowledge of low-level power controller fundamentals like DVFS, HW, and SW-based closed-loop controllers.
• Design and improve diagnostic tools and monitoring systems for power and performance inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Execute power, performance, and thermal assessments, analysis, and tuning.
• Define POC, design, develop, profile and tune GPUs and platform software components.
• Drive and resolve complex optimization strategies independently across multiple teams.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with local and remote teams and OEM/ODM partners.
