Senior Prediction and Planning Machine Learning Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join its Autonomous Vehicle team in Santa Clara, CA, USA, to develop key features for their autonomous driving platform.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience applying machine learning to real-world problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Python programming experience with software design skills
• Experience with deep neural network training in leading frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, TensorRT, etc.)
• Practical software engineering experience developing for large systems
• Strong understanding of mathematical foundations of machine learning and deep learning
• Self-motivated with team spirit and willingness to learn new things and solve problems
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Research, implement, and evaluate deep-learning-based methods for prediction and planning for NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicle products
• Design, run, and analyze experiments to evaluate the efficiency of solutions on real-world data
• Partner with system software engineering specialists to ship industrial strength ML models
• Communicate and collaborate with multi-functional teams
