Aftertreatment Integration Technical Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Aftertreatment Integration Technical Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering, thermal and fluid systems in Plymouth, MI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area
• Proficiency writing MATLAB scripts and functions
• Experience with vehicle On-board Diagnostics (OBD), software calibration, and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing preferred

Responsibilities

• Interpret and predict the performance of fluid and thermal systems
• Apply principles of thermodynamics and energy conversion systems
• Identify and mitigate potential product failure modes
• Utilize computational tools and methods to predict product function capabilities
• Translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements
• Define and analyze the system of interest
• Develop and maintain formal and informal relationships inside and outside the organization
• Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to different audiences
• Make good and timely decisions to keep the organization moving forward
