Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer to join the mixed-signal design team working on next-generation NVLINK, with a focus on high-speed electrical/optical interfaces and analog circuits.

Requirements

• Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with a strong analog design background
• 6+ years of analog design experience
• Experience in CMOS Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design, especially in deep sub-micron processes like FINFET
• Proficiency in design and verification tools such as Cadence's IC design environment, analog circuit simulation tools like Spectre, HSpice, Finesim, XA
• Experience in crafting test bench environments for component and top-level circuit verification
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Analog simulation experience for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, ac/dc/tran analysis, monte-carlo, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-speed electrical/optical interfaces and analog circuits
• Lead architecture, transistor design, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools
• Optimize circuit performance to meet system specifications
• Work closely with layout engineers for high-speed routings
• Provide support for post-silicon bring-up and debugging
