Job Description

The Amazon Robotics Infrastructure Engineering team is looking for a Sr Systems Development Engineer to join and support networks for Amazon Fulfillment Centers and other facilities.

Requirements

• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
• 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment experience
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience

Responsibilities

• Write code for demanding, cross-functional networking projects
• Decompose complex problems into simple solutions
• Understand system inter-dependencies and limitations
• Research and benchmark Amazon technology against industry systems
• Contribute intellectual property through patents
• Assist in career development and mentoring
