Sr. Data Engineer , Managed Operations Engineering & Data Science (MOEDS)

Job Description

AWS Managed Operations (MO) organization is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to reduce operational load and toil through long-term engineering projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence or business analytics experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle
