Sr. Hardware Engineer - ML Acceleration, Annapurna Labs

Job Description

Seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to work on the definition, design, and validation of AWS next-generation ML Chips, Cards, and server integration within the UC organization at AWS.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of PCIe interface Gen4 or above at the chip and PCB level
• Understanding of Transmission line theory and Electromagnetics for SerDes, Single-ended signal, and parallel bus interfaces
• Experience with lab equipment skills for electrical validation and characterization
• Scripting skills for test automation and data collection
• Strong technical communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and execution of PCIe and Serdes topics
• Design and optimize hardware in data centers for Machine Learning Acceleration
• Lead the application of new technologies in large scale server deployments
• Continuously seek ways to improve product performance, quality, and cost
