Systems Development Engineer, Serverless ADC

Job Description

Join a specialized group within AWS to work with the U.S. Intelligence Community in implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and solving technical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting systems experience
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
• Experience programming with at least one modern language
• 3+ years of UNIX/Windows production application support
• Active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Further existing application and system management tools and processes
• Define and/or refine hardware requirements
• Develop or further existing application and system management tools
• Adapt and improve operations management systems and processes
• Participate in the design and execution of production acceptance tests
• Maintain fleet inventory management
• Monitor the health of the fleet
• Perform various system maintenance tasks
• Dive deep and lead as a subject expert for operations of AWS Serverless
