Job Description

The EC2 Gateway Networking team at Amazon Web Services is seeking a System Engineer with a strong background in open source development to help manage and automate physical device fleets at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development

Responsibilities

• Automating fleet lifecycle management
• Making intelligent decisions based on fleet metrics
• Providing insight into network conditions at scale
• Performing root cause analysis on internal network appliances
• Maintaining network health
• Reviewing code and contributing to existing tooling
• Providing project updates and estimates
• Participating in on-call responsibilities
