Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer, Commercial Tech Engineering

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a technical lead to build a Commercial Tech Platform & API services for their Electric Adventure Vehicles, focusing on system scalability and back-end performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience working on large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications
• Proficiency in Javascript, TypeScript, React, Webpack, Jest, and micro-frontend architectures
• Experience with GraphQL, or a willingness to learn
• Great understanding of Web accessibility principles, caching, security, and privacy
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience working with AWS and container microservices architectures is a plus
• Strong technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology field

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain client-side applications for scheduling, processing, and delivering vehicles efficiently
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to write code using modern frontend best practices
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to build user-friendly, reactive applications
• Develop state of the art code with a focus on system performance
• Write useful tests for all code developed and ensure high quality
