Job Description

The AWS Center for Quantum Computing is looking to hire a Research Scientist specializing in Mixed-Signal Design in Pasadena, CA.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with 3+ years of relevant experience
• High-speed PCB design experience
• Proficiency in Altium or Cadence CAD software for high-speed PCB design and verification
• Knowledge of op-amps, biasing circuits, filtering, clock distribution, phase locked loops, and grounding and shielding techniques
• Working knowledge of RF/Microwave circuit theory
• Hands-on lab equipment skills for electrical validation and characterization
• Product life-cycle development experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with diverse teams to offer solutions for the control of AWS quantum processor systems
• Solve technical problems across the hardware stack
• Develop requirements with key stakeholders
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative solutions
• Research enabling technologies for commercially viable quantum computers
