Software Development Engineer II, Demand Science Optimization (DSO)

Job Description

The Amazon DSO team is looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) with an interest in ML to forecast demand and manage supply of all Amazon Devices using ML and big data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomously and deliver projects at team or cross-team level
• Interact with other teams, understand their needs, or integrate with their systems
• Drive designs for components and services, deliver new features and capabilities
• Perform root cause analysis on operational events, provide project updates to leadership
• On-call responsibilities every 4-5 weeks
