Systems Development Engineer, AWS Cross Domain Services

Job Description

The AWS Cross Domain Services team is seeking a Systems Development Engineer focused on operational excellence to help operate and scale services connecting AWS regions with differing security requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
• 3+ years professional software development experience or related disciplines like Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, etc.
• 3+ years programming or scripting language experience in Linux or similar UNIX distribution with strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Leverage the latest cloud computing technologies
• Improve availability of cross domain services for U.S. Government agencies
• Operate, automate, and troubleshoot complex systems
• Collaborate with software developer peers on system operations
• Grow automation skills and cloud computing design pattern knowledge
