Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with popular deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Rust, C++ or similar
• Experience with large-scale data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale distributed systems that execute real-time auctions for self-service display advertising
• Implement pricing and allocation logic that balances shopper value, advertiser ROI, and long-term ecosystem health
• Collaborate with scientists to productionize models for ad ranking, bidding, and pricing
• Optimize systems for ultra-low latency, high throughput, and fault tolerance, handling hundreds of thousands of ads across diverse supply types
• Take technical ownership from architecture to launch, driving innovation in how we serve, measure, and improve auction outcomes
