Senior Test Quality Engineer, Project Kuiper

Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Quality Team is looking for a Test Quality Engineer to ensure satellite systems undergo rigorous testing to identify and mitigate defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing and quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace or satellite industry
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, quality standards, and industry regulations
• Experience with test equipment and software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, etc.

Responsibilities

• Review test plans and procedures to ensure quality and reliability of satellite systems
• Conduct testing and validation of satellite systems including electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure satellites meet performance requirements
• Develop and maintain quality documents, test procedures, and reports
• Stay current with industry standards and regulations in testing and quality assurance
