Software Development Engineer, AWS Edge Connectivity

Job Description

This role involves building network pathways for US Intelligence and Department of Defense customers to connect to Amazon's Dedicated Cloud partitions, ensuring secure access to dedicated cloud environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience with at least one software programming language
• Experience with network Layer2/3 encryption
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement cloud based services for managing encrypted network connections
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Influence product direction based on technical insights and business impact
• Mentor teammates to develop technical and operational skills
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain service availability
