Software Development Engineer, Selection Monitoring

Job Description

The Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems team is looking for engineers to work on building global selection and catalog management systems using the latest machine learning, data processing technologies, and AWS technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Partner with Principal Engineers, Sr. SDEs, and Product and Program Management to define and grow the technical and architectural vision for Selection Monitoring’s systems
• Deliver scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available services for large-scale data processing solutions
• Build and own systems for Data discovery and lifecycle management of hundreds of datasets
• Develop solutions for efficient deployment and orchestration of application flows across compute environments
• Utilize serverless and container technologies to build scalable compute layer solutions
