Job Description

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in Olive Branch, MS. The ideal candidate will have a lean mindset and proven Project Management experience in distribution processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent years of directly related experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement roles
  • 2+ years of experience with proven operations process improvements (distribution experience preferred)
  • Previous kaizen participation experiences
  • Strong project management skills
  • Advanced Data analysis skills in MS Excel, Pareto, Control charts, PowerPivot, and/or VBA
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Effectively collaborate with cross functional teams to drive value through problem solving and creative thinking
  • Lead project implementation by analyzing current state, providing what-if scenarios for improved efficiencies, and understanding financial impacts
  • Brainstorm and implement robust improvements that will scale as the company grows
  • Lead cross-functional projects of small to medium complexity
  • Ensure cross functional alignment on scope, budget, schedule, and resources
  • Establish appropriate metrics and report on project progress, risks, and results
  • Drive accountability for team to successfully complete tasks
  • Establish credibility, influence project teams, and persuade professionals at all levels
  • Maintain a strategic cross functional mindset and understand the impact of business decisions on the organization
