Applications Development Engineer

Job Description

Support field efforts to resolve metrology issues, coordinate technical requests, and assist in the transfer of technology from factory to field.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree
• Understanding of engineering principles and techniques
• Working knowledge of major system components
• Good working knowledge of testing techniques such as spectroscopy and HPLC
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic customer issues
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task
• Proficiency with industry-standard software applications
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese
• 30% travel both domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Analyze process results and indicators to assess equipment performance
• Make recommendations on performance improvement
• Coordinate with factory and field on technical requests
• Develop collateral material for field resolution of metrology issues
• Deliver training programs
• Work on systems qualification and new technology development
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams on process characterization and equipment preparation
• Oversee project schedules and ensure on-time delivery
