HPC Cluster Product Design Engineer

Job Description

KLA is looking for a research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers to join their Global Products Group (GPG) division, which is responsible for creating metrology and inspection products for semiconductor process control.

Requirements

• Ability to code in Shell, Python or C
• In-depth knowledge of Linux flavors: SUSE, Red hat, CentOS, Alma, Ubuntu
• Experience with BIOS customization, Disk partitioning, RAID utilities, Net boot/PXE, System-D, and Linux HA
• Experience with Configuration Mgmt utilities like Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet
• Knowledge of Server Hardware, GPUs, RAID/HBA Controllers, Storage Technologies (ZFS, Snapshots)
• Interconnected Network configuration experience including InfiniBand, Ethernet, RDMA, ROCE
• Comprehensive understanding of Cable Types, signal integrity specs, qualification and characterization
• Superior understanding of x86 Hardware Platform stack and workload benchmarking
• Knowledge of PKI & SSL/TLS certificate management
• Knowledge of Apache/NGINX, Setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (HA Proxy)
• Experience in developing visualizations using Prometheus/Grafana stack
• Experience with NoSQL Databases
• Strong DevOps focus with knowledge of continuous development pipeline, Repository software, Docker Containers

Responsibilities

• Developing systems and solutions for the manufacturing of wafers, reticles, integrated circuits, packaging, printed circuit boards, and flat panel displays
• Contributing to accelerating the delivery of tomorrow’s electronic devices
• Collaborating with expert teams to tackle complex problems
• Creating metrology and inspection products for semiconductor process control
• Ensuring next-generation devices ramp to volume production quickly and cost-effectively
• Providing reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry
