Senior Photonics Test Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Photonics Test Engineer to develop testing processes and equipment for next-generation products.

Requirements

• Degree in Optics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields with equivalent experience
• 8+ years of optical testing and/or optical packaging experience
• Strong background in Silicon Photonics design, fabrication, test, packaging, and assembly
• Hands-on experience in carrying out Photonics testing at wafer or chip-scale
• Strong statistical analysis skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Photonics test development for NVIDIA’s next generation Silicon Photonics products and platforms
• Define test methodologies, test flow, and parameters
• Design and develop photonics test equipment
• Work closely with test integration vendors to install and enhance Photonics Test equipment
• Partner with internal design, fabrication, and packaging multi-functional teams
• Drive continuous improvement in testing cycle time and test quality/reliability
