Algorithm Engineer

Job Description

This position focuses on the development of algorithms for the next generations of chemical monitoring metrology systems.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master Degree holder in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics with strong experience in algorithm development.
• Proven innovative track record and solid fundamental knowledge in algorithm development.
• Experience in areas such as texture analysis, deep learning, feature extraction, classification, statistical data analysis, signal processing, and filter theory.
• Software skills in C/C++, OOD/OOP, MATLAB, and/or Python.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, proof-of-concept design, production software design and implementation, performance characterization, documentation, and user support.
• Collaboration with RnD scientists and System Engineering for prototyping and testing.
