Senior FPGA Design Engineer (E)

Job Description

Senior FPGA Design Engineer position at KLA's CTO team in Milpitas, focusing on developing high-speed FPGA-based designs for camera and network projects.

Requirements

• Experience with designs using SerDes for high-speed communication
• Experience with imaging camera and networking systems
• Experience with image processing implementations in hardware
• Hands-on experience with lab bring-up and camera test setups
• Proficient with System Verilog and Vivado for design, build, and verification
• Experience with embedded software and Linux
• Experience with machine learning implementations in hardware

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and develop camera and network projects from concept to pre-production
• Develop complex, high-speed FPGA-based designs including design, verification, simulations, synthesis, place and route, and timing closure
• Bring-up and debug FPGA, PCB, and camera systems
• Write engineering documentation for internal release
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex camera and networking challenges
