Rivian is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage exterior commodities quality requirements and contract manufacturers' quality performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
7+ years supplier quality engineering experience
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA
Technical expertise in automotive components designs and manufacturing
Knowledge of GD&T, IATF16949:2016, ISO14001
Responsibilities
Manage class-A glazing, injection molding, and vacuum formed assemblies
Ownership of supplier quality throughout life cycle
Support Purchasing group in supplier selection process
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product development
Report on KPIs and manage supplier PPM, problem-solving, and warranty indicators
