Senior System Software Engineer - GPU and SoC

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking highly motivated engineers to join the Platform Software team and work on all aspects of SOC and system technology.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong understanding of ARM microarchitecture and exception levels
• Background in solving problems for large complex systems at scale
• Experience testing and validating drivers across various operating systems
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
• Familiarity with ACPI, Device tree concepts, and computer system architecture
• Hands-on experience with debuggers and compilers like GDB, WinDBG, GCC, MSVC, LLVM
• Knowledge of SOC architecture including Boot, Security, and OS

Responsibilities

• Developing and triaging platform drivers for SOCs
• Building sophisticated automation triage tools for FW and OS drivers
• Supporting OS driver development and bring up for Platform and Multimedia drivers
• Assisting with Boot KPIs, Security, and OS drivers
• Involvement in architecture definition, modeling, and simulation for products across different business verticals
• Collaborating effectively with global teams
