Sr. Supplier Development Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Supplier Development Engineer will lead the industrialization process for Body Structure Components, ensuring supplier readiness and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years of supplier development/quality, quality, or engineering experience
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally with no restrictions on location
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Run at Rates

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier industrialization and readiness for Body Structure components (Stampings, Castings, Forgings, and Welded Assemblies)
• Carry out supplier validation audits and advanced product quality planning
• Work with Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria for effective supplier process capability
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues
