Senior Software Engineer - GPU

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to join the GPU System Software team, responsible for developing comprehensive system software solutions for energy-efficient consumer products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience in system software or related field
• B.S. or higher degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science/Engineering
• Strong programming skills in C with in-depth knowledge of low-level interfaces
• Solid background in operating system internals, device driver, real-time embedded operating system, algorithms, and data structures
• Capability to work closely with hardware designers and other driver engineers
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Define, POC, design, and develop display features based on VESA Display Port standards like DP 2.1, HDMI, and eDP
• Drive and resolve complex optimization strategies independently across multiple teams and technical disciplines
• Influence next-generation GPU/SoC and Platform architecture by creating internal architecture specifications and design specifications
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with local and remote teams and drive interaction with OEM/ODM partners
