Senior Data Processing Platform Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a data processing platform engineer to design, implement, and operate Kubernetes-based GPU accelerated data processing service at scale.

Requirements

• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems
• Strong Kubernetes experience on-premise and/or CSP
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning/troubleshooting Spark applications
• Familiarity with metrics collection, health monitoring, and observability tools
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Optimize distributed computing infrastructure
• Identify KPIs and instrument metrics tracking
• Enhance and maintain a robust scale, reliable, real-time data processing service
• Train data engineers, data scientists, and production engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation, run-book implementation, and continuous process improvement
