Cloud Software Services Engineer - Backend

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a strong senior back-end software engineer to redefine GPU Cloud computing and lead in the fields of Deep Learning and AI.

Requirements

• BS/MS in CS or equivalent experience with 8+ years of hands-on experience building complex microservices
• Strong knowledge and experience in OOP concepts and Design Patterns
• In-depth experience in design, architecture, and building complex large scale back-end systems
• Strong knowledge of core Java, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, HTTP REST API, gRPC, security, and networking
• Good understanding of API design and test-driven development practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to debug issues and work collaboratively with team members

Responsibilities

• Architect, Design, plan, and implement complex PaaS for the GPU cloud services
• Drive the underlying technology stack and implementation methodology
• Work closely with partners, stakeholders, UX and UI designers, and front-end engineers
• Obsessed with modules and/or product(s) consistency across the teams
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Lead pragmatic technical discussions towards practical solutions
• Write tests and code, influence other teams on test-driven development methodologies
