Principal Physical Design Engineer, ATG

Job Description

NVIDIA is looking for a Principal Physical Design Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Group in Santa Clara, CA.

Requirements

• BSEE (MSEE preferred) or equivalent experience with 15+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in large VLSI physical design chip implementation on advanced silicon node technologies
• Track record of production chip work
• P&R CAD tools experience: ICC2/Innovus/Voltus/Redhawk/StarRC/ICV
• Scripting skill: Perl and TCL
• PPA (performance/power/area) analysis, timing analysis, IR drop, physical verification experience must
• Strong debugging and analysis skill

Responsibilities

• Lead the Advanced technology node P&R methodology architecture and development
• Advanced technology node test vehicle chips implementation
• Advanced technology node block PPA analysis
• Provide IP (std/ram/analog) interface guidelines
• Provide methodology support and guidance to production methodology team
